We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our Risk & Compliance team at Cooper Lomaz. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our operations remain at the forefront of the legal industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide compliance support to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Maintain key accreditations and memberships, such as Lexcel and CQS, to maintain our competitive edge.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for compliance queries, including SRA conflicts, GDPR issues, and data breaches.
  • Produce regular and ad hoc reports to keep the team informed and proactive in managing compliance.
  • Collaborate with the team to provide training and updates on compliance matters.
  • Draft, update, and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and procedures across the firm.
  • Stay ahead of industry developments and ensure the team is informed of any relevant changes in the legal landscape.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of SRA codes, AML regulations, and compliance in professional services.
  • Experience in legal audit and risk management is highly desirable.
