Reporting to the Academic Registrar, you will join the Academic Section of the Professional Services, a diverse and talented team focused on impact. Your expertise will be essential in delivering effective, responsive, and customer-focused academic services across the University.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supporting institutional compliance within the context of evolving internal and external developments. You will work closely with Academic Section teams and managers, Faculties, Academic Departments & Schools, and other Professional Services teams to ensure compliance with UK Higher Education immigration requirements.
Key duties include:
Providing leadership and management for the International Services team
Delivering training and briefings to students, colleagues, and teams on student immigration compliance
Managing the team's staffing structure, pay and non-pay budgets, and ensuring responsive, effective, and customer-focused processes and services
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of UK Higher Education immigration compliance requirements and a creative and flexible approach. You will bring relevant management experience within a complex organisation and excellent leadership and management skills. Your attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively with academic and professional services colleagues are essential.
