Research and Development Lead

About the Team
Our team is passionate about developing cutting-edge quantum technology and we are looking for a talented individual to contribute to our mission.
- Collaborate with colleagues to read and discuss academic papers, identifying critical results that can be scaled up for industrial application.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, physics, computer science, or a related field and possess a proven ability to undertake high-quality theoretical or technical work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement novel methods for error correction in quantum computing systems.
The salary for this role is estimated at £65,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the location.
Requirements:
- MSc in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Possess strong knowledge of Python and/or C++ programming languages.
- Experience with running experiments on quantum computers.
