About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Rotational Pharmacist to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Rotational Pharmacist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care and services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the day-to-day delivery of aseptic, QA, and Clinical Trial services from GOSH Hospital in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice, Good Clinical Practice, and nationally agreed standards.
  • Support the preparation and release of cytotoxic, CIVAS, and PN products, as well as the Quality Assurance programme for manufacturing and Clinical Trial service.
  • Train and support others rotating through the department.

Requirements

  • Professional registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • MPharm or equivalent or BPharm/BSc Hons for those qualified before 2002.
  • Evidence portfolio to demonstrate mandatory CPD to maintain fitness to practice.
  • Previous experience of working in a manufacturing unit and clinical trials.
  • Working knowledge or understanding of principles and practices of quality assurance, aseptics, and clinical trials formulation, stability, legal issues, and relevant policies.
