Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Corporate Credit Underwriter at Metro Bank, you will be responsible for underwriting Corporate Banking propositions from the Structured Finance team, including Net Asset Value lending and Private Equity sponsored lending. You will work closely with a team of credit underwriters to ensure that all propositions meet the bank's lending policies and standards.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Commercial / Corporate Credit Underwriting expertise, including Net Asset Value lending and/or Private Equity sponsored lending experience
  • Experience working as a Credit Partner, Relationship Manager and/or distressed debt management/work-out
  • Excellent knowledge of stakeholder management & engagement
  • Knowledge of Commercial lending and general banking and finance – including relevant legal concepts and issues
  • Problem solving combined with excellent negotiation skills
  • Wider commercial/corporate and economic knowledge and awareness
