Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Investment Analyst to join our Alternative Credit Underwriting team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting detailed financial analysis of cash flows, financial statements, and ratios to assess the creditworthiness of potential borrowers. You will also evaluate credit risks across multiple factors, including industry trends, market conditions, and potential borrowers' operating environments.

Additionally, you will perform due diligence on potential borrowers, including the review of legal documentation, contracts, and other relevant information impacting credit decisions. You will develop and utilize complex financial models to simulate different scenarios, assess potential risks, and project future performance of borrowers.

You will assist in preparing credit memoranda and other documentation for Investment Committees, providing accurate and concise underwriting analysis and investment recommendations. You will also monitor the performance of existing loan portfolios, identifying potential issues and recommending actions to mitigate risks.

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in credit analysis, technical analysis skills, and experience in conducting due diligence and financial modeling of corporate credit investments. You will also need solid experience in buy-side private loan investment management, knowledge of LP relations, and management of portfolio companies.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in credit analysis, with a focus on corporate credit underwriting
  • Technical analysis skills, including financial modeling and data analysis
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and instruments
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a finance-related field or equivalent experience
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 30 days' holiday, a non-contributory pension scheme, and physical and mental health well-being benefits.

We also offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid working, which allows employees to work from home one day a week and in the office two days a week.
