Job Title: Accommodation and Housing Officer

Kenwood Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled and compassionate Accommodation and Housing Officer to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable individuals in East Lancashire.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of clients, providing support and guidance to help them achieve positive outcomes. This will involve collecting and chasing up Service Charge payments, conducting H&S and fire checks, and liaising with colleagues to ensure follow-up actions are completed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of clients, providing support and guidance to help them achieve positive outcomes.
  • Collect and chase up Service Charge payments, ensuring timely payment and accurate record-keeping.
  • Conduct H&S and fire checks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary actions.
  • Liaise with colleagues to ensure follow-up actions are completed, maintaining effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in supported accommodation or a related field.
  • Ability to work with vulnerable adults, providing empathetic and person-centred support.
  • Understanding of safeguarding principles and practices.
  • Positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Access to a vehicle, a full UK license, and an enhanced DBS certificate (issued within the last 12 months).
