Job Title: Technical Manager

Brand Organic is seeking an experienced and organized Technical Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our BRCGS certification, ensuring compliance with UK legislation, and facilitating the flow of orders into customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the company's BRCGS certification, including monitoring and updating the Quality Management System as required.
  • Responsibility for label and legal checks for new and existing products to ensure compliance with UK legislation.
  • Liaise with customers and brands on technical issues.
  • Act as point of contact for regulatory bodies and report any issues arising.
  • Manage customer complaints.
  • Compile data for packaging waste responsibilities and liaise with relevant 3rd parties.
  • Process orders and related transactions on Company's stock management software, Unleashed.
  • Process orders through 3PL software when required, and liaise with providers where required.
  • Maintenance of new and existing products on Company's stock management software.
  • Stock purchasing and forecasting alongside Wholesale Manager.
  • Manage freight forwarders and delivery of inventory as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • A detailed understanding of the FMCG supply chain landscape, particularly with regards to food and drink.
  • Knowledge of BRC procedures and other technical processes.
  • Good understanding of Unleashed, Mintsoft, Excel/Google Sheets, and G Suite.
  • A flexible and ambitious mindset, with the ability to adapt and grow the role as the company evolves.
