Flexible Education Support
GSL Education's Bournemouth branch is currently recruiting University Students for flexible roles in schools across the area. This is a fantastic opportunity for students who are passionate about education and looking to gain valuable experience while fitting work around their studies.
The positions available include Teaching Assistant, Cover Supervisor, Learning Support Assistant, Exam Invigilator, and Supply Teaching Assistant. Whether you're seeking occasional work or something more regular, we have options to suit your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching Assistant: Provide support to classroom teachers and assist students with their learning.
- Cover Supervisor: Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and on task.
- Learning Support Assistant: Offer tailored support to students with additional needs on a one-to-one or small group basis.
- Exam Invigilator: Ensure the smooth running of exam sessions, adhering to all regulations.
- Supply TA: Step in as a teaching assistant when schools need short-term cover.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in various educational settings.
- A valid DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to apply for one.
- A passion for education and supporting students' progress.
