As a DevOps Platform Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and security of our critical IT infrastructure. You'll be responsible for maintaining system availability, resolving issues promptly, and implementing best practices for platform engineering.

What You'll Do

  • Respond to issues reported through automated dashboards, user requests, or proactive monitoring routines.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor system health and performance.
  • Analyze issues, compile reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Update support documentation and provide training to our first-line teams.
  • Manage hardware installations at our data centers.
  • Perform regular operating system and application patching.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience with software and systems delivery methodologies, processes, and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux-based operating systems.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues in production environments (hardware and software).
  • Familiarity with Cisco networking (primarily ASA firewalls) and network troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience testing custom software deliveries to ensure seamless integration and performance in production.
  • Expertise in deploying and configuring systems using automation tools such as Kickstart, Ansible, and Puppet.
