Pharmacy Business Systems Analyst

CereCore is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Business Systems Analyst to join our team in London, UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the implementation of departmental systems, including workflow analyses and establishment of benchmarks for determining successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Mapping and Analysis: Conduct thorough process mapping of current pharmacy-related workflows, including medicines procurement and logistics, clinical pharmacy, and dispensing. This will involve meeting with colleagues, observing workflows, and documenting ways of working across all HCA facilities.
  • Business Requirements Analysis: Perform analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements for business solutions, and making recommendations for reengineering to best utilize business systems and enhance departmental productivity, performance, and accuracy.
  • System and Business Requirements: Gather and analyze information from multiple sources to develop system and business requirements, data dictionaries, use cases, and decision trees.
  • Collaboration and Verification: Work collaboratively with HCA internal stakeholders to verify findings and ensure proposed solutions are fit for purpose.
  • Electronic Health Record Development: Contribute to the development of pharmacy-centric and clinical-centric dictionaries and data sets, embracing medicines optimization and clinical decision support, foundational to the building of the Electronic Health Record HCA U.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Participate in testing and checking of pathways before transfer to the new live EHR system.
  • Advocacy and Liaison: Act as Pharmacy Systems advocate and liaison with Information Technology Teams as needed.
