Job Overview

Kenton Black Ltd is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join their team in a hybrid or office role. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing, including dealing with HMRC queries and RTI, processing SMP and SSP, and setting up new clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage monthly payrolls using IRIS/STAR Payroll Professional software.
  2. Deal with HMRC queries and RTI submissions.
  3. Process SMP and SSP payments.
  4. Ensure compliance with all aspects of pensions auto-enrolment procedures.
  5. Process starters and leavers, including P45 and P46 documentation.
  6. Set up new clients and manage their payroll requirements.
  7. Provide extensive client liaison and interaction.
  8. Process BACS payments.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have full end-to-end payroll processing experience, with a strong understanding of pension auto-enrolment procedures. They will also possess leadership skills and be able to work autonomously, with a team of two.

Package

The successful candidate will receive a salary of up to £50,000, plus benefits including hybrid or office working, flexible working hours, 21 days' holiday plus bank holidays, pension, employee assistance program, and CIPP-funded training.
