Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team at beBee Professionals in Waterlooville, United Kingdom. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our classrooms during teacher absences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher, maintaining a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain engaged and on task.
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and support students with their learning when necessary.
  • Assist with administrative duties as required and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a school environment is preferred, but not essential.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills, with the ability to adapt to different classroom environments.
  • Patience and a positive attitude toward supporting students, with a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
  • A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
