Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical Solutions Specialist to join our team at Pigment Consulting. As an Applications Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting business-critical systems that are vital to our clients' work in an ITIL-aligned environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining middleware such as IIS, MS-SQL Server, Active Directory, ASP, and .NET, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Working on cloud and container technologies and Kubernetes.
  • Design, development, testing, and deployment of Tableau Dashboards.
  • Report writing with tools such as PowerShell, JavaScript, HTML, and SQL.
  • Daily support of COTS and web-based software applications with an emphasis on problem-solving.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Understanding of ITIL processes, incident management, change management, and problem management, including working to strict SLAs.
  • Ability to understand business logic, technical tools, and be an analytical thinker.
  • Understanding of application design and development, including agile methodologies, application and database design, infrastructure technologies.
  • An understanding of application backup, restores, and the Application Disaster Recovery (DR) process.
