About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Calculations Specialist to join our team at Framatome. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our pipe network design and its supporting structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed piping calculations and assess HVAC and electrical supports for various load scenarios.
  • Develop and implement finite element analysis software to optimize pipe network design.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in piping design and analysis, with a focus on structural integrity.
  • Expertise in finite element analysis software and programming languages such as Python.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a nuclear engineering environment.
  • Knowledge of RCC-M code and CALTUY/Pipestress software.
  • French language skills.
