Renal Care Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Diaverum, a leading provider of renal care services. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and support to individuals undergoing renal dialysis treatments.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Maintain clean equipment and supplies, adhering to proper training and protocols.
  • Prepare treatment packs and supplies, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct health checks with patients before and after dialysis, providing vital support and reassurance.
  • Escort patients to clinical and waiting areas, promoting a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Provide refreshments during treatments, demonstrating a commitment to patient comfort and well-being.
Requirements:
  • GCSE level or equivalent education.
  • Minimum NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (preferably working towards level 3).
  • Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is ideal.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive and dynamic approach to delivering safe and effective care.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English.
What We Offer:
  • Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Competitive salary of up to £23,532, depending on experience.
  • Overtime paid at time and a half after completing full-time hours.
