Job Title: Healthcare Assistant - Renal Care

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our renal care team at Diaverum. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals undergoing renal dialysis treatments.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain clean equipment and supplies, adhering to proper training and protocols.
  • Prepare treatment packs and supplies, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct health checks with patients before and after dialysis, monitoring their condition and reporting any concerns.
  • Escort patients to clinical and waiting areas, providing a safe and supportive environment.
  • Offer refreshments during treatments, promoting a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
Requirements:
  • GCSE level or equivalent education.
  • Minimum NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (preferably working towards level 3).
  • Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is ideal.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive and dynamic approach to delivering safe and effective care.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English.
What We Offer:
  • Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Competitive salary of up to £23,532, depending on experience.
