Renal Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our renal care team at Diaverum. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals undergoing renal dialysis treatments.
Responsibilities:- Maintain clean equipment and supplies, adhering to proper training and protocols.
- Prepare treatment packs and supplies, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct health checks with patients before and after dialysis, monitoring their condition and reporting any concerns.
- Escort patients to clinical and waiting areas, providing a safe and supportive environment.
- Offer refreshments during treatments, promoting a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
- GCSE level or equivalent education.
- Minimum NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (preferably working towards level 3).
- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is ideal.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Positive and dynamic approach to delivering safe and effective care.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English.
- Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week.
- Competitive salary of up to £23,532, depending on experience.
- Overtime paid at time and a half after completing full-time hours.
