About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 5 nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of safe and effective services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the provision of safe and reliable services by using clinical judgment and risk assessments to keep patients safe.
  • Safeguard patients by recognizing and responding to potential risks and escalating concerns when necessary.
  • Act as an effective advocate for patients and their families, promoting their rights and dignity.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to create a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records, adhering to trust policies and procedures.
Person Specification
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 and amendments.
  • Knowledge of the NMC Code of Conduct and ability to adhere to its principles.
  • Working knowledge of the Care Programme Approach Framework and current developments in mental health care and nursing practice.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, prioritizing workload and managing time effectively.
