**Role Overview**

We are seeking a skilled Employment Advisor to join our team at PeoplePlus. As an Employment Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting participants to achieve their employment goals.

Based in our Tonbridge office, you will manage a caseload of Restart Participants, working closely with them to identify their goals, aspirations, and barriers to employment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating short and long-term solutions and interventions to support participants' progression into sustainable employment
  • Developing and implementing effective job search strategies, empowering participants to build their confidence and skills
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with employers to secure job opportunities for participants
  • Accurately recording and reviewing participant details and requirements for every intervention

We welcome applications from candidates who are flexible and able to work a 4-day week with condensed hours. All flexible working options will be discussed further at interview stage.

**Key Requirements**

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with a wide range of participants, external networks, and colleagues
  • Confidence in assessing, mentoring, motivating, and coaching individuals to achieve their best
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify issues and implement solutions
  • Good administration skills and computer literacy

Previous experience of working with the unemployed or recently employed, supporting individuals with barriers to work, is desirable but not essential.
