Mechanical Tradesperson

We are seeking a skilled Tradesperson to join our Facilities team at the University of Salford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, gas, and water services across our estate.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance and repairs of heating, ventilation, gas, and water services
- Working independently and as part of the wider Estates team
- Providing exceptional customer care and communication skills
- Flexibility to work outside of agreed shift patterns, including early starts, late finishes, and occasional weekend work
The Estates & Facilities Services Directorate is responsible for delivering a full estates and facilities management service to the University. Our core objective is to provide an essential and critical Facilities Management service across all campuses, ensuring our buildings and general estates are pleasant, fit for purpose, and functional for everyone.
