About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Tradesperson/Plumber to join our Estates and Facilities team at the University of Salford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, gas, and water services across our estate.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair heating, ventilation, gas, and water services across the estate.
- Work independently and as part of the wider Estates team to complete tasks and respond to queries and situations that arise daily.
- Provide professional and friendly customer service, using discretion, tact, diplomacy, and attention to detail.
- Assist with maintenance and repairs on other estates-related tasks as required.
About Estates and Property Services
The Estates and Facilities Services Directorate is responsible for delivering a full estates and facilities management service to the University, including property maintenance, planned maintenance and renovation, cleaning, security, caretaking, and facilitating spaces for our staff and students.
