Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Executive to join our growing sales and business development team. This hybrid role requires two days a week in the office, and due to the location, a vehicle is necessary.

The ideal candidate will have a background in B2B media, publishing, or events, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. They will be responsible for building strong relationships with new and existing clients to generate revenue through print, digital, event, and conference product sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively develop new business and expand the client base.
  • Conduct research to identify new client opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients through cold calling, lead follow-up, and prospecting.
  • Travel in the UK and internationally to visit clients and attend industry events.
  • Create customized campaign proposals and sales pipelines for clients.
  • Issue performance reports and collaborate with internal teams to deliver on client campaigns.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in business development or sales within publishing, media, sponsorship, or delegate sales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Strong communication, time management, and networking skills.
  • Commercially aware with a professional attitude.

This role offers a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
