Senior Business Development Executive Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Development Executive to join our sales and business development team. The ideal candidate will have a background in B2B media, publishing, or events.

This hybrid role requires two days a week in the office, and due to the location, a vehicle is necessary. The role involves building strong relationships with new and existing clients to generate revenue through print, digital, event, and conference product sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively develop new business and expand the client base
  • Conduct research to identify new client opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients through cold calling, lead follow-up, and prospecting
  • Travel in the UK and internationally to visit clients and attend industry events
  • Create customized campaign proposals and sales pipelines for clients
  • Issue performance reports and collaborate with internal teams to deliver on client campaigns

Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years in business development or sales within publishing, media, sponsorship, or delegate sales
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Strong communication, time management, and networking skills
  • Commercially aware with a professional attitude
