About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pain Management Specialist to join our team at Connect Health. As a Pain Management Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and groups, as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver effective and sensitive pain management to individuals and groups, promoting patient education and understanding of pain, rehabilitation, and self-management strategies.
  • Ensure that pain management is focused on the patient's individual needs, adhering to CQC requirements and clinical standards.
  • Contribute to clinical team development and multidisciplinary team meetings, promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and their application in pain management.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience and interest in chronic pain management.
  • NMC or HCPC professional registration.
  • Background in physiotherapy, nursing, or occupational therapy.
  • Prior experience of working in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and listening.
  • Knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques.
