Pain Management Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Pain Management Specialist to join our team at Connect Health. As a Pain Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering effective and sensitive pain management to individuals and groups, as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver pain management services to patients, promoting patient education and understanding of pain, rehabilitation, and self-management strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that pain management is focused on the patient's individual needs.
  • Contribute to clinical team development and MDT meetings, ensuring that clinical standards comply with CQC requirements.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of cognitive behavioural therapy techniques and their application in pain management.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience and interest in chronic pain management.
  • NMC or HCPC professional registration.
  • Background in physiotherapy, nursing, or occupational therapy.
  • Prior experience of working in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and listening.
  • Knowledge of cognitive behavioural therapy techniques.
