About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Mental Health Social Worker to join our Adult Social Care team in Winsford. As an AMHP/Progressed Social Worker, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals with mental health needs, promoting the least restrictive approach to recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with local people to understand their care and support needs, identifying options available to them.
  • Be pivotal in ensuring individuals are connected to the support services and community assets they need to live fulfilling lives.
  • Develop and progress in your career through training and development opportunities.
  • Enhance your legal literacy, working closely with our great legal support services.
Requirements
  • Professional Social Work/OT/Mental Health Nurse/Psychologist qualification.
  • AMHP qualification (postgraduate certificate on master's level).
  • Experience of managing high-risk, complex cases and safeguarding Adults.
  • Experience of working in a mental health team, understanding the legislation that underpins the role.
  • Enhanced DBS plus Adults Barred List.
  • Understanding of services essential to meeting the needs of people with Mental Health needs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, carers, and families.
  • Ability to cope positively with change and promote positive changes to make a difference.
