Job Description

Amoria Bond is seeking a highly skilled Senior Sourcing Specialist to join our team for an initial 9-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting complex analysis of markets, supply chains, and supply base to inform sourcing process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing specialized items and executing complex sourcing strategies in accordance with agreed-upon sourcing strategy/plans at the optimum cost, quality, and relationship.
  • Working with peers and stakeholders to support business goals, such as supply security, reduction of complexity, or financial targets.
  • Executing sourcing tactics of varying complexity in accordance with established category/commodity strategies reflecting the optimum cost, quality, delivery.
  • Supporting procurement/sourcing management in activities such as price benchmarking, vendor management, industry and market analysis, process analysis, and model building.
  • Leading analysis projects/initiatives providing coaching to less experienced analysts and specialists.
  • Data Analytics - Discovering, interpreting, and communicating qualitative and quantitative data; simultaneously applying statistics, data validity, data visualization, and problem-solving approaches to effectively extract meaningful patterns and business insights; presenting conclusions and outcomes that enable data-driven business decisions.
  • Category Strategy Development - Establishing regional category strategy using Total Value Performance (TVP) approach to define the Supply Base, Tooling and Technology Strategy to meet clients' needs; managing risk and inclusion of diverse suppliers.
  • Procurement Policies, Procedures, Tools - Understanding all of the relevant Procurement policies and procedures and complying with them in daily work.
