About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a prestigious Primary School in Tower Hamlets. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, providing personalized and small group support to help them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with SEN, working closely with teachers and staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist in developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to help students achieve their goals.
  • Support students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Monitor and document student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure a smooth and effective learning experience for all students.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
  • A patient, caring, and empathetic approach, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment, promoting diversity and equality.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special education are a plus.
