Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Manager to join our team at Legal & General Affordable Homes. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of our residential properties, focusing on asset optimization and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize asset performance, ensuring maximum value and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including development, contracts, and data teams, to maintain accurate and up-to-date asset data.
  • Review and assure the approach to servicing and planned maintenance, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Work with the data team to ensure asset data assurance and accuracy.
  • Monitor performance at asset, building, and portfolio levels, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Support the Head of Investment and Compliance in contributing to business planning assumptions for long-term asset investment.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Sustainability to consider retrofit works and achieve Net Zero Carbon goals.

Requirements

  • Strong academic background, preferably with RICS qualifications.
  • Experience in residential property management and property surveying.
  • Technical expertise in affordable housing products, specifications, costs, and product lifecycles.
  • Experience in developing major works programs at asset and portfolio levels.
  • Ability to work with developers and residential property managers.
