Radio Frequency Design Specialist

We are seeking a talented Radio Frequency Design Specialist to join our team at HMGCC. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, building and testing antennas for modern communication systems.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will bring your technical knowledge and ideas to create and maintain antennas that solve challenging engineering problems. You will work closely with our partners at home and overseas to design solutions that meet their needs.
You will have experience of designing and testing bespoke antennas to meet specifications and standards, as well as using network and spectrum analysers and other test equipment and measurement systems used in antenna design.
To succeed in this role, you will need relevant work experience or a relevant degree, such as RF engineering, RF communications, maths or physics. You will also need to be able to design solutions that meet our partners' needs and contribute to project planning and meetings.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary of £49,579 per annum, 25 days annual leave rising to 30 after 5 years' service, 8 bank holiday days off in addition to your annual leave, 2.5 additional days leave (set dates through the year), paid overtime or time off in lieu, lots of training and support throughout your career with us.
We also offer a relocation loan of up to £2,500 to help with your move to the area, if required. Our pension scheme is Alpha and we have a society for every interest, from classic cars to baking, golf to crafting.
