About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our team in conducting comprehensive family assessments, aligned with individual care plans. Your expertise in report writing, strong communication skills, and ability to manage a demanding workload are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough family assessments.
  • Collaborate with the service leadership team to enhance assessment processes.
  • Contribute to the development of staff and resident training programs.
  • Maintain a reduced caseload to effectively fulfill other duties.

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent Diploma
  • Social Work England (SWE) registration
  • Proven experience in residential family assessment centres, community assessment teams, or conducting assessments
  • Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in court report writing
  • Proven ability to work effectively with parents and children
  • Strong analytic and evaluation skills
