About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Marshall Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced control strategies for our Liquid Hydrogen Fuel System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement innovative control algorithms for the Liquid Hydrogen Fuel System, focusing on stability, efficiency, and safety.
  • Design and develop sophisticated fault detection and diagnostic algorithms to identify anomalies and deviations from expected system behavior.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to refine control strategies based on real-world performance data and operational requirements.
  • Implement real-time monitoring systems to assess the fuel system's performance and detect potential faults at an early stage.
  • Develop fault-tolerant system designs to ensure the system can continue operating with minimal disruption even in the presence of faults.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in control systems engineering, with a focus on developing fault detection and diagnostic algorithms, health management strategies, and fault-tolerant system designs for complex systems.
  • Strong programming skills in languages for real-time control applications, diagnostic algorithms, and system health management.
  • Familiarity with sensors, actuators, and feedback control mechanisms used in industrial applications, as well as fault-tolerant system design principles.
  • Strong project and risk management skills.
