Join Our Team as a Control Systems Engineer

This role supports and maintains Slough's control and monitoring systems, acting as a subject matter expert for new projects. As a member of the Automation Team, you'll plan and coordinate responses to breakdowns within the GMP Manufacturing Facility and Laboratories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and eliminate site control system issues and handle controls projects, including Wonderware/AVEVA, BMS IQVISION, IMS, DeltaV, SCADA platform, current PLC/DCS control systems, and control systems wiring.
  • Knowledge of Calibration, HVAC, WFI, Utilities Plant.
  • Interface with equipment vendors and contractors to troubleshoot and resolve startup issues.
  • Maintain configuration control of current PLC/DCS source code.
  • Offer controls engineering support to plant operations/production in response to downtime events.
  • Ensure that tasks are conducted and records are maintained at a level that meets GMP, regulatory, and quality requirements.
  • Supervise external vendor/contractor activity to ensure it meets the requirements defined by your team leader.

Experience of I/O's, PLC/DCS, Control System Platform (SCADA, Building Management Systems BMS, Wonderware/Aveva). Windows Servers knowledge, with an understanding of, and ability to work with, high-level computer technology.

Strong teamworking skills, with an ability to motivate others and to lead or manage teams and projects.
