Alpha Client Implementation Manager, Vice President

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Client Implementation Manager to join our team at State Street. As a key member of our Alpha Implementation team, you will be responsible for leading and collaborating across State Street and Charles River products and services to deliver the Alpha solution to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead client-facing Alpha implementation programmes, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Communicate guidance and decisions from Oversight and Leadership groups to programme and product owners.
- Support the design of programme milestones and sequencing of phases.
- Oversee and manage significant elements or phases of client implementation programmes.
- Plan and monitor programme progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as needed.
- Support the Client Implementation Executive in ensuring timely delivery of programmes.
- Make decisions and recommendations to the Client Implementation Executive and Client to manage and ensure successful delivery of programme plans.
- Monitor expenditure costs against delivered and realised benefits on behalf of programmes.
- Provide insight for solutions, develop in-depth knowledge of assigned projects and/or products, and define solutions that are fit for purpose.
- Support capturing of business requirements and reaching agreement on Target Operating Models.
- Support the Client Implementation Executive in managing risk to programme outcomes and change control processes.
- Ensure delivery of new capability or services from programmes is on time and within budget, in accordance with programme plans and governance arrangements.
- Support the Client Implementation Executive and Client PMO in managing dependencies, reporting, and interfaces between dependent initiatives as part of programme milestone plans.
- Report programme progress at regular intervals to the Client Implementation Executive Lead, internal steering, and external steering committees.
- Agree contract structure and schedules with Legal and product owners.
- Work with Legal and product owners to define business owners and recommend input to Service schedules.
- Define Migration/Transition schedule, assumptions, phasing/sequencing, developments, timing, and dependencies.
- Understand and hold business SMEs accountable for discussions with Legal and Client on specific clauses and schedules.
- Leadership and ability to bring together teams across different levels and disciplines within the organisation.
- A willingness to drive resolutions and own outcomes.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and relationship management skills.
- Experience in managing large-scale, multi-location projects across multiple business lines and corporate functions.

- Degree qualified with a financial or analytical discipline preferred, or relevant experience within the financial services industry.
- Microsoft Office suite experience.
