Occupational Health Technician Opportunity

Purosearch Ltd is seeking a skilled Occupational Health Technician to fill a full-time, permanent position. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the health and well-being of clients.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in EMT, Army Medic, HCA, or Sport and Exercise Science backgrounds. Our client offers comprehensive training to support your growth and development as an Occupational Health Technician.

You will be responsible for performing various tasks, including drug and alcohol testing, spirometry, audiometry, safety critical medicals, health promotion, skin assessments, and HAV's.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct drug and alcohol tests to ensure a safe working environment.
  2. Administer spirometry tests to assess lung function.
  3. Perform audiometry tests to evaluate hearing thresholds.
  4. Carry out safety critical medicals to ensure employees meet safety standards.
  5. Develop and implement health promotion strategies to enhance employee well-being.
  6. Conduct skin assessments to identify potential health risks.
  7. Evaluate Hand-Arm Vibration (HAV) exposure levels.
Requirements:
  • A background in EMT, Army Medic, HCA, or Sport and Exercise Science is highly desirable.
  • Ability to drive a van and participate in weekly overnight stays (expenses will be covered).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer:

The estimated salary for this position is £27,000 - £31,000 per annum.
