Job Title: Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Specialist to join our team as a Functional Assessor.

As a Functional Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP) and providing unbiased, high-quality recommendations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assessing health conditions and disabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP)
* Provide unbiased, high-quality recommendations
* Manage caseloads from end to end
* Deliver face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls, and paper-based reports (PBR)
* Assess the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting the claimant, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual, and cognitive impairments

Requirements:
* Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions
* Strong background in assessing health conditions and disabilities
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Salary and Benefits:
* Basic salary: £38,500 - £41,500 per annum
* 5% retention bonus
* Rising to 10% quality & retention bonus
* OTE: £45,650
* Hybrid full-time, part-time working hours available
* Training options: 12 weeks (full-time), 14 weeks (4 days per week), & 17 weeks (3 days per week)
* 25 days holidays per annum, rising to 27 days with service
