Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the private client tax department, ensuring high-quality service delivery and strategic growth.
  • Provide expert advice on private client tax matters, including inheritance tax, trusts, and estate planning.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, offering tailored tax planning solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide integrated client solutions.
  • Oversee a team of Managers, Seniors, and Trainees.
  • Contribute to the overall strategic direction and growth of the firm.
Requirements:
  • ACA/CTA qualified, with substantial experience in private client tax.
  • Proven track record in leading and managing a tax department.
  • In-depth knowledge of inheritance tax, trusts, and estate planning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex tax legislation.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to contribute to the firm's growth.
