Job Title: Breast Radiology Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Breast Radiology Consultant to join our team at Whittington Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to our patients, with a focus on breast imaging.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide cross-sectional imaging services, including hotseat cover and on-call duties.
  • Participate in the general acute radiology on-call service, with a frequency of 1 in 20.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service standards and quality initiatives.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in teaching and training of radiology trainees and other staff members.
Requirements:
  • Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists or equivalent.
  • Full UK GMC registration and unrestricted license to practice.
  • Experience in cross-sectional imaging and breast subspecialty training.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
