Job Title: Consultant in Breast Radiology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Breast Radiology to join our team at NHS Tayside. As a key member of our Breast Radiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services for Tayside.

About the Role

This is a replacement post with a clinical background in breast radiology symptomatic services and preferably experience in breast screening and assessment. You will be registered to practice by the GMC and will be on the Specialist Register, or be within 6 months of the anticipated award of CCT or CESR at the time of interview for the post.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality imaging services for Tayside, working within a cohesive and supportive Breast multi-disciplinary team.
  • Contribute to the education and training of both medical and non-medical staff, as well as undergraduate medical and other healthcare students.
  • Work within multi-disciplinary teams and provide a quality service in both symptomatic and screening settings.
  • Be responsible for diagnostic radiology duties with special interest in gynaecological imaging.
