Job Title: Technical Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Technical Director to join our Civil and Structural Engineering team at Waterman Group. As a Technical Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing technical aspects of projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage technical aspects of projects, including design, construction, and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement technical strategies and plans to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, including training and mentoring.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other external partners.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Engineer (MICE or MIStructE) with extensive experience in civil and structural engineering.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing technical aspects of projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills in civil and structural engineering, including design, construction, and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
