About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Dimensions in Watford, Hertfordshire. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support to an individual with epilepsy, autism, learning disabilities, and dysphagia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily activities, such as fruit and vegetable picking, arts and crafts, baking, and decorating biscuits, while being sensitive to the individual's comfort levels.
  • Provide personal care assistance, including prompting and support for toileting needs, while respecting the individual's autonomy.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding support, following dietary guidelines specific to dysphagia, and engaging the individual in the process.
  • Administer medication as needed, following established protocols for emergency epilepsy medication.
  • Promote family connections by collaborating with the individual's mother and facilitating communication.
