Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and supportive individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced teachers and SENDCo to provide tailored support to a pupil with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work under the direction of the class teacher/SEND Co-ordinator to support the pupil in accessing the curriculum and achieving their learning goals.
  • Assist the teacher in creating a purposeful, orderly, and supportive learning environment.
  • Support the pupil in developing their skills, including basic skills such as language, reading, writing, spelling, and mathematics.
  • Encourage the pupil to develop their concentration and communication skills.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work under the direction of the class teacher/SEND Co-ordinator.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, teachers, and other staff members.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced learning environment.
