About the Role

Adecco is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team as a Senior Procurement Buyer. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the delivery of procurement activities within the Digital, Data and Technology category.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Procurement Manager in driving value creation across the procured spend base through mechanisms such as volume leverage, quality, forecasting efficiency, supplier innovation, and non-traditional markets.
  • Deliver a portfolio of strategic sourcing events within category groups, identifying best sourcing strategies and leading events from market engagement through to award.
  • Develop insights to input into the category management planning process through research and analysis of supply markets and other characteristics of the procurement market.
  • Collate data on spend performance and other metrics, providing analysis and recommendations for action.
  • Ensure risks are identified and work with the Procurement Manager to mitigate them to prevent any disruptions to timely procurement delivery.
  • Maintain knowledge of policies and frameworks for contract and supplier management, ensuring compliance with relevant processes.

Requirements

  • Previous experience of understanding, identifying, and executing multiple opportunities across a range of spend categories to deliver value.
  • Experience with SAP, S4Hana, Ariba, or Coupa would be beneficial.
  • Supply chain management experience in complex environments.
  • Track record of driving value beyond straightforward procurement savings.
  • Good influencing and negotiation skills to drive optimum value through the award of commercially sound contracts.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
