About the Role

Milk Education is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team. As a Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our company meets all necessary compliance and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all new and existing candidate files to ensure compliance criteria is correct.
  • Adhere to and follow Milk Education's compliance guidelines to ensure we are always at the forefront of compliance and safeguarding regulation.
  • Understand the DBS application and completion process, and contact DBS as necessary.
  • Assist and advise consultants to ensure candidates are cleared quickly and efficiently.
  • Speak with candidates on the telephone to obtain any outstanding information required to clear their file for work.
  • Send references and follow up on any outstanding references to clear a candidate for work.
  • Manage your compliance inbox and monitor all candidates due to expire.
  • Audit candidate files and work towards all external audits.
  • Conduct qualification checks and run prohibition checks.
  • Work with clients to provide safeguarding information.
  • Review and update internal compliance procedures to decrease the timeline of clearing candidates.
  • Update and train operations on new compliance procedures and identify any compliance training gaps within Milk Education.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent attention to detail and be able to follow strict processes and instructions. You will also need to be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
