About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  1. Cash Collection: Proactively contact customers to collect outstanding payments, ensuring timely and accurate allocation of collections on our in-house credit control software.
  2. Account Management: Ensure customer accounts are up to date, reconciled, and accurately reflected in our accounting system.
  3. Process Improvement: Continuously look for opportunities to improve cash collection processes, reduce debtor days, and enhance overall financial performance.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with other customer-facing teams to resolve credit control cases efficiently and effectively.
  5. Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate and up-to-date credit control KPIs, reports, and dashboards to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  1. Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills to handle difficult conversations with customers.
  2. Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP, and knowledge of Sage and Salesforce are desirable.
  3. Problem-Solving: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to resolve complex credit control issues.
