Job Title: Lecturer in Dietetics and Nutrition

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Lecturer in Dietetics and Nutrition to join our academic team in the Centre for Nutrition and Health at Oxford Brookes University.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education in Dietetics and Nutrition, including the supervision of student research projects and the design, delivery, and leadership of practice education. The postholder will ideally hold a higher degree in Dietetics and be a Registered Dietitian with the Health and Care Professions Council.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver academic and related activities in the delivery of high-quality education in Dietetics and Nutrition
  • Supervise student research projects
  • Design, deliver, and lead practice education
  • Contribute to the development of the Centre for Nutrition and Health
Requirements
  • Background in Dietetics
  • Experience and understanding of working in the dietetics discipline
  • Experience in practice education and placements
  • Experience in teaching at degree level
  • Evidence of research and/or audit activity
  • Suitable HE teaching qualification (or willingness to complete in post)
  • Ability to contribute to development activities
