About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Reporting Manager to join our team on the AFS project. As a Reporting Manager, you will work closely with various stakeholders across the programme, reporting to the Project Controls Manager. Due to the strict security requirements, candidates must be a UK National and will need to progress through security clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide project controls management for sub-projects within AFS, covering cost, risk, schedule, change management, and reporting within an integrated project team environment.
- Support the project manager on all project controls-related matters.
- Attend key project meetings to capture decisions and actions.
- Follow up with responsible parties to ensure actions are carried out.
- Organize key meetings aligned to the project drumbeat.
- Support the facilitation of meetings.
- Maintain the project calendar.
- Provide process and technical support to the AFS project controls lead in terms of reporting and ensure alignment with wider PMO governance processes.
- Liaise with project manager, integration director, and project controls manager.
- Recommend continuous improvement opportunities within reporting.
- Support the project controls manager as required.
Requirements
- A technical degree or equivalent experience, ideally with an APC.
- Experience in project management or a project controls environment, ideally with a Six Sigma, PRINCE II, or lean project delivery practitioner certification.
- Knowledge of tools and software used for reporting.
- Understanding of data management.
- Knowledge of change and baseline management.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to validate and check inputs.
- Maintain trackers.
- Provide basic commentary for reports.
- Experience in construction, nuclear, or high-secure sectors is desirable.
- Experience with NEC contracts is also desirable.
- Experience integrating multiple stakeholders and supply chain entities is desirable.
