Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resuscitation & Simulation Trainer to join our team at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Resuscitation and Simulation training team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education and training to our staff and medical students.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of all levels of resuscitation training.
  • Develop and deliver new and innovative simulation and clinical skills training sessions for medical students on clinical placements.
  • Work towards the development and facilitation of competency-based clinical skills training and assessment for doctors in training.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Experience in working within a multi-professional team.
  • Teaching qualification and ILS, ALS, or APLS provider certification.
  • Knowledge of recent developments in resuscitation and clinical skills.
  • Relevant clinical experience in acute care and experience in teaching and assessing clinical skills, resuscitation, and clinical simulation.
