Role Overview

A Speech and Language Specialist is required to support the communication needs of students in a dynamic and inclusive educational environment. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective strategies that promote speech and language skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and identify students with speech and language needs across the schools.
  • Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to support individual students.
  • Provide consultancy and training to school staff on effective speech and language strategies.
  • Liaise with parents and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of interventions and adapt strategies as needed.
Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £32,933 - £37,188 per annum, along with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • A recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Proven experience in working with children in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
